This is what I do. Take out all of my personal information and shred it. Then I take all the fliers, disclosures, and everything else and stuff it in the prepaid return envelope to mail it back. It is my hobby. I probably send back 30-40 envelopes a week.

Or, you can contact the companies and tell them to take you off their mailing list. I think my way is more fun though.

Go to https://www.dmaconsumers.org and follow the prompts. This will take you off of the credit list that the three credit bureaus sell. Might take a couple of weeks but it will work.|||I do what rop does.

I destroy my personal info, and mail back their junk mail in someone else%26#039;s prepaid envelope.

You can also call your bank, credit card companies and credit reporting agencies to opt out.

Option #1 is more fun, though.
