If you work in retail then more than likely you have a credit goal to meet and your company basically wants you badger a customer into getting their card. Im just curious..are you the type to talk the customer into getting a credit card until they say yes or do you just let it go and leave them alone if they say no the first time that you ask. Me personally if they say no then I leave it alone because I do believe that no means no...and when I tell someone no thats what I mean.
Retail workers and credit card offers?credit check
Personally, I would not badger, it reflects badly on the company. Just do the usual, Would you like to put this on your (Store Name) Card? If customer says no, then just reply, if you apply today, you have no interest for 6 months, or whatever offer the store is offering, you can receive 15% off your total purchase for applying. If they say no the second time, you have done enough, without being a nuisance.
Retail workers and credit card offers? loan
You absolutely write, but if people can get discount on a purchase, they could say Yes.|||Retail clerks probably have to make some requirements in sales and selling store credit card is a part of her/his job. They may get additional pay (incentive) on how many credit cards they sell. That%26#039;s why some of them are very aggressive.
