Is it dangerous to throw out credit card offers from the mail without shredding?

Can your identity be stolen from it? I have lots of those mails waiting to be shredded and was wondering if I can just throw them out.

yes at least tear them up... anyone could fill themout if they have your info. and then have the credit card sent to them|||SHRED THEM!!!!!! or become a victim!|||Yes, it is dangerous. Anyone can go through your garbage and then get a card in your name. Always tear up or better yet shred any papers that have any sensitive information on it. Even receipts.|||Put a clean new liner in the kitchen garbage can,

Tear through all the pertinent info like your name , address, social security . . . any vitals .

Put the torn up offers in the can. Toss a weeks worth of kitchen garbage on top.

ID crooks are really too lazy to patch forms together that have old kitchen garbage ripening on them.

Worked for me for 20 years now . . .|||It depends. If the offers have your personal information on them they should be shreadded. If they do not? Then there is really not much to worry about since nobody can apply without your information.|||Thats how they steal your identy, alway rip them.

OooOOOoooh I love socking it to the credit card companies !

: )|||It can be dangerous. I prefer to shred anything that has my name and address on it just to be safe.|||as long as they don%26#039;t have your social security # on them you can throw them away.|||yes invest in a shredder. and put your name on donot solict list........
