Is it a good idea to 'opt out' of recieving credit card offers? I've heard it somehow

No, opting out of credit card offers does not affect your credit. There%26#039;s no way it can.



If you%26#039;re concerned about identity theft you can opt out. You%26#039;re also saving trees. Plus, they%26#039;re annoying to get in the mail. Really, it%26#039;s up to you though.

Yes, absolutely, I work for a credit attoreny and even though the 3 bureaus will swear that it makes no difference on your score, I know it actully will go up. We do this for all our clients for that very reason. I work for a credit attorney.
