What is your favorite thing to do with those annoying credit card offers that you get in the mail?

I like to tear up everything in the envelope and put all the other junk mail I recieved that day in the post-paid envelope and mail it back to them, believe or not they eventuality quit mailing them.

You have the right to opt-out of prescreened offers (similar to the national no-call list). The number is 888-5-OPT-OUT or OptOutPreScreen.com on the web. All sending the junk mail back to the companies in their pre-paid envelope does is raise prices and interest rates for those who do need or want the credit.

Hope this helps.

Give the fake card they send you to my kid, so he can pretend he has a real credit card.|||lol, good on you that sounds like fun. but i have to say i am rather boring and just throw mine away.|||I cut everything up and send it back too... cool idea about getting rid of all your other junk mail.. thanks they must have been pretty teed off when Andy Rooney told people to do that on 60 minutes.|||it is only in the past 6+ months that i have got so many credit offers. i destroy mine also.there must be a way to stop this before the banks send them out. would a call to one or all of the 3 major credit clearing co.s help such equifax to stop this.|||I have some business cards with just my email on them no phone or address I put one in the post paid envelope and send it back. Be sure to shred the paper with your name on it...|||sometimes I do look at the offers just to see if it is something good that I can use. If not I shred them. If you do not have a shredder make sure all your personal info is off because you don%26#039;t want anyone to get a hold of any of it.|||It is annoying receiving this junk. It seems they will do anything to to keep you in debt.

Now, I just shred them.|||I actually used one of those since our wedding was approaching and the costs were rising. Worst mistake of my life. The extra money was handy to have, the hassles and frustrations were not worth it.

Never get a CITI bank card. They block it every 48 hours to prevent fraud, then you must call them to get it reinstated, or wait until they call you at 8 am to ask you the previous 5 purchases that may have been made by yourself or your spouse. If you do not know the answers, card is shut off. Just as they discriminate against military personnel that must move often and will not allow them an active card unless they have proof of residence for the past year.
